Thoughts for the "morning after the two weeks before"

The media is full to the brim with comments about being proud to be British after the great Olympic spectacle. Many people seem to be carrying around this glow of achievement for things they have no involvement in. I did nothing to make Chris Hoy ride faster or Mo Farar run faster but strangely it makes me feel a little better, but should it?

Today, and for a long time to come, I think the challenge should be to do something to make us all proud to be us. get a little fitter, spend more quality time with our kids, improve our qualifications; just do something.

Sitting on the sofa watching others achieve whilst eating chocolate is nothing to be proud of, please find something that is, that will be a Great British Legacy.
